reboot is getting close!
Only 17 days to reboot5, the annual meeting place for the digital community in Denmark, which i have the pleasure of organizing together with a great team of spirited people. Mission for the weekend, apart from taking the weekend off and getting some relaxation before the last work stretch, is getting the english part of the reboot site done for all you guys.

Programmer’s as superstars?
Sitting here finalizing the reboot5 programme i have a problem. I wanna find a danish programmer who’s thoughtfull, wellknown and makes a difference in wellknown large projects!
And i can’t even name one that’s close to two of the above requirements.
Why aren’t programmers superstars?

Email sent to a potential reboot5 speaker a couple of weeks ago:
“Our focus this year is how introduce elements from nature and humanism into the technology, design and organizations we create. To get our audience to become conscient about the values they put into their work. Returning to the roots of the ideas/mission the creators of the computer revolution originally had.
To me you’re the perfect person to tell the story and put it in perspective. Hopefully reigniting a young new generation who’s focus on higher goals has been taken away …
