Benjamin is ranting on about the need to combine business thinking and interaction design/usability. I totally agree with him offcourse, but also feel the urge to say. And so what’s new?
Product design has for ages been like that, store design likewise, etc.
The only thing that’s new is that it’s digital. Period.
And the bloody interaction/experience/information/etc. design title is nothing new -once again old stuff in a digital context.

Rem Koolhaas’ proposed new EU Identity. Like the diversity goal in Koolhaas concept – we need that at the moment in Europe!. Is it good, well – it’s definately better than the current identity imho – and for once the EU isn’t totally clueless – giving Koolhaas the assignment shows some level of competence!
