Apple: There’s no “a” in Wi-Fi

Apple: There’s no “a” in Wi-Fi. What we all in the wifi industry has predicting for a long time is now happening. 802.11a is getting abandoned in favor of 802.11g utilizing the existing spectrum giving backwards compability with 802.11b and no spectrum issues in countries like Denmark.
The only doubt is the late certification of 802.11g, but with Apple choosing 802.11g that’s where the momentum is now.
