Telcos at work
Hanging out with popstar entrepreneur, Morten Lund, at a DI meeting for the danish telecom industry about the new sms services.
The telcos have with their agreement total lock-in, since they’ll only allow other telcos to join their agreement. So what we have is a market that’s practically closed before it all started.
Only 11 price categories, according the telcos, because of technical limitations!!!
All billed sms’es will be billed the basic sms operator fee + the paid surcharge!!!No sexual content or content that’s inappropiate for kids under the age 16.

Rant: When corporations bent the truth!
Keep being amazed how Mondo in all their communication can state that the company was founded in 1993. The company was the first Danish internet consultancy, founded in february 1995 by three guys in garage, Kim Borreby, Karsten Pers and myself. Spent most of the night (home at 5 am!) researching the possibilities of a 802.11b-based wireless 3g provider in metropolitan areas. Did the same thing about 3 years ago, but the technology wasn’t ready at that point/too expensive – now the timing seems right.
Kicking ideas around with popstar entrepreneur, Morten Lund, about the business model, etc. Let’s see if we ever get around to do something about it – but we’ll have to since i’ve got the most perfect brand/domain, “metronet/metronet.dk”, ready for the project!
